Our network is designed for maximum network traffic throughput and reliability. We maintain separate Internet backbone connections to diverse providers via our own private multi-gigabit Ethernet fiber ring. Each is configured for fail over in case any one of our providers experiences an outage for any length of time. These multiple connections also ensure the fastest possible routing to your clients. Our connections implement BGP routing and a great deal of content filtering technology to ensure that legitimate traffic freely passes through our network while malicious traffic is detected and blocked. Our goal is simple - provide our clients with a clean, safe and fast network.
Our main network data center is located in downtown Pensacola, Florida. Located on the third floor of the Brent Building, this colocation facility offers easy access to high-speed data lines, facility-wide back-up power generation, N+1 cooling and heating and medium physical security. Network segments for each client are partitioned from each other with Cisco routers and switches are used within each network segment to further restrict traffic to local segments. All clients colocating in our facility are provided with a dedicated 100 Mbps, 1000 Mbps (1 Gigabit) or 10,000 Mbps (10 Gigabit) Ethernet connection dedicated for their use. We are serviced by multiple fiber providers and can easily arrange dedicated circuits as needed.
We are can also offer mirrored services to clients requiring this level of service. Our other data centers located directly on our redundant fiber ring enabling us to provide mirrored solutions and an overall higher level of reliability for clients requiring these services.
All facilities are located on a redundant gigabit Ethernet fiber rings with dual direct 1 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity to major backbone Points of Presence making provisioning a snap. Addition Internet bandwidth is available and can be provisioned quickly. The network topology used within each facility allows for expansion of broadband services as well. The current broadband connection is redundant, in that separate feeds, from independent suppliers are used to guarantee connectivity will not be interrupted by network failures internal to the Tier 1 providers themselves. All core routers are configured with BGP and direct traffic to the appropriate connection, thus providing a load balancing and fail over protection. Our local gigabit Ethernet loop is private and managed by our staff at all points of entry and egress utilizing multiple layers of detection, prevention and monitoring.
Physical security to the building and our colocation facility is controlled by electronic key fobs which are required to operate the elevators or enter the premises after hours. Camera surveillance is used to monitor our facilities 24 x 7.
