Hosted Lyris ListManager Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
GridSouth Networks prohibits clients from sending unsolicited mail, and does not allow the use of third-party, purchased, rented, or harvested mailing lists. Any customer found using GridSouth Networks systems to send such mail will be banned from the use of our service.
If you’ve received unsolicited mail from one of our users, please notify us immediately at abuse@gridsouth.com. We examine every abuse report we receive, and you can contact us to request detailed information on the steps we are taking to address your complaint.
GridSouth takes a comprehensive approach to fighting email abuse. In addition to infrastructure and tools specifically chosen to minimize the unauthorized use of our systems and resources, we also:
- Screen new customers regarding the source of their email contact data, their email marketing policies and practices, and their understanding of email marketing standards and guidelines. Customers who are not prepared to use GridSouth systems in a compliant way are not given access.
- Directly handle the initial upload of new lists, and evaluate the list data for indications that it was not acquired through acceptable means. List data that does not meet our requirements for quality is not uploaded to our systems.
- Regularly review email content, and when content issues are detected, review mailings with customers to insure that their content is brought to acceptable standards or removed from our systems.
- Maintain active participation in feedback loops and full compliance with published top level domain host and ISP bulk email policies and guidelines.
GridSouth Networks is committed to providing safe, compliant, and secure channels of email communication for its customers, and we are equally committed to the privacy rights of the list members we host. Please direct any concerns or reports of email abuse to abuse@gridsouth.com for immediate attention.
